The US History Bee is well into its third competition year, with hundreds of students having already taken the C Set version of the National Qualifying Exam around the country. Congratulations to our top scorers so far – Eric Wolfsberg of Bethlehem Central High School (Delmar, NY) in the Varsity Division, who had a 93, and Connor Warren of Westview High School (Portland, OR) who had a 90. The B Set and A Set exams will debut in early 2016; remember, that if you are unable to take an exam at a National History Bee and Bowl tournament site, you can do so with a teacher or homeschool instructor proctoring it for you.
Registration is also now open for the 2016 US History Bee National Championships, which will be held on Friday, April 22 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA. This year’s sign up deadline is Friday, April 8, but don’t wait – sign up today if you know you’ll be joining us! For all questions on the US History Bee, please email director@historybowl.com Thanks and have a happy and historic 2016!
Happy 2016 from the US History Bee!
