The US History Bee is off and running with its 2017-2018 competition season, and for 11th grader, Matthew Sohn of ‘Iolani School in Honolulu (which also hosted the first exam site on October 14), the year began in perfect fashion, with a score of 100 on the C Set National Qualifying Exam! Typically, only a handful of perfect scores are notched across the USA each year, so despite there being close to 100 USHB exam sites still to come, Matthew has already established himself as a force to be reckoned with at the National Championships next April 27. For full scores from our Oahu Fall qualifying site, click here and for a list of all upcoming USHB exam sites, please click here. These sites correspond to all the National History Bee and Bowl Varsity and JV tournament sites (with rare exceptions, the USHB Exam is held during the lunch break) and this list is updated on a continual basis as further events are scheduled. Good luck throughout the 2017-2018 season!
